Halling sacked

I want official confirmation and I'm getting the BBQ out, a few beers and I might even buy some party poppers and silly hats.

 

Ha ha I'm with you, no celebrations till it's official. Great news if this is really happening. Enduring memory is of him shouting 'Disgusting' as the Porter vs Brook scores were read, just before realising they were for Brook, and then forgetting all about it. Foghorn-gobbed, ignorant cheerleader.

It'll be Andy Scott taking over if Halling has gone.

No way Darke comes back sadly, Farrar would be decent but he likes German football and writing books on gambling too much (as we all do).

 

I like Andy Scott so that's a good appointment if it happens

Pretty sure his contract with BT sport would get in the way of that happening.

 

Is he not usually an interviewer/used for news pieces and round ups? Can't recall him ever doing commentary.

He no longer has "boxing commentator" on his Twitter so it must be true.

 

He does the undercards for Sky and even Channel 5. He's knowledgable and is far more polished than the available alternatives. Plus he seems to actually like boxing unlike Halling.

 

Do you reckon barney Francis will be on the phone to eubank Sr telling him he can pick the comms

 

Been in Wales all week and couldn't get internet. This is a great welcome home present.

 

Nothing to be ashamed of mate, we've all been there.

:-( I've been in a few whales myself but that was many years ago and those were my heavy drinking single days.

My advice is drink heavily to forget if you have any memories of the whales, it can be a vicious circle because the more you drink the more likely you'll end up getting another whale.

Maybe go and get therapy, I didn't and I still have the odd flashback that makes me shudder.
