True but let's bear in mind that it was preceded by eighteen rounds of which most were fairly bland. This was a fun main event but the program wasn't put together very well.

Man, I think Gvozdyk would have a very tough night vs Stevenson. Beterbiev would be a problem for him though.

Yeah that's probably the same smile he had on his face when he was torturing those girls, that smile reeks of sociopathy.

Eh, would you have thought so a week ago or is that just a knee-jerk reaction to a freshly recent memory of Karpency dropping him on a bad night at the office?

Because as embarrassing missteps a couple of years into your pro career go, that isn't as bad as getting knocked out by Darnell Boone.

So you're saying Stevenson is like a CEO?

He remains good enough as a boxer-puncher that he can really cement the LH legacy of those other two fighters, though. Hate him if you want, but Stevenson is a compelling opponent for the winner of the Kov-Ward clash.

Boone got KTFO by Boone and dropped by Fonfara and Bellew although it was ruled a slip, he just got rocked several times in that match by a guy who couldn't stop Campillo or Mack.

Gvozdyk got caught with a right hook he never saw coming and he bounced right back up from it. Adjusted and dominated Karpency for the rest of the match.

Stevenson would probably never get close enough to Gvozdyk to land a shot like that.

Relax pal, it has nothing to do with him being black.

But is that why you're defending a torturer and ******?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing myself, the cards last year were almost all great, this year however, Broner-Theophane, Bathemey-Bey, the majority of the card tonight, it seems like they didn't like the audience getting too much of a good thing.

The thing with Gvozdyk is that he doesn't have anything he excels at, he's all around good but nowhere spectacular. I didn't even think the kd was that big a deal, what I was more concerned with was Gvozdyk's lack of power and way of pushing punches, oh and he had no answer for Karpency's hooks.

Its weird how you blast Stevensen but Kovalev has killed someone in the ring and still delights in punishing people in it so who is the pyschopath?

Lucky thing Stevenson has no hook then. :yep (nor does he loop the left effectively to approximate the orthodox left hook... always just the long straight cross, the short downward-slanted bop on the chin dropped from up high on his own face, or the occasional uppercut...)

I'm not defending Stevenson, more dissing top execs who are rewarded for being sociopaths (like Roger Ailes). It was actually a thing in the last season of Dexter. In other words it was a joke. Relax.
