    Bellew went 24 rounds with Cleverly.... it took Kovalev 4.

    Chickenson just stopped Harrison in 4....the same Harrison who was stopped in 5 by Campillo....who in turn was stopped in 3 by Kovalev.

    When Spinks beat Holmes and refuse to face a live body everyone knew Tyson was better but Spinks was still the champion. Same happened with Patterson and Liston.

    It isn't the first time the champion isn't perceived as the best in the division.

    Yep.

    There's been loads of champions who weren't the best at the time. It's nothing new. Just confused because of the fragmented nature of the sport. Politics and drawing power have irreversibly polluted the nature of champions in the sport.

    But I'm not gonna play along and pretend some bauble makes you a champion. To be a champion you have to beat the previous champion or the next best challenger of he retires.

    the way stevenson follow his corner instruction amaze me! sugar hill is a very good trainer who has a deep bond with his boxer
