Who is is more dangerous for Anthony Joshua ? Young Brit or not so young Cuban ? Would you explain your attitude, without hatred, please.
Ortiz by far, he's shown no real weaknesses yet. He's quick handed, powerful, appears to have a good chin, very educated feet, and is a fairly active puncher. Against Ortiz he's goin in against a bomber that's quick, throws short punches, can likely take some of his shots, has better footwork and a superior skillset
Fury for sure. While he was coming up it looked like he was crude and sluggish and slow, but had size and heart to make him a contender/titlist material. He's showed good punch resistance and recovery even though he has taken some unnecessary shots when he was being defensively irresponsible. That said, Ortiz is packing glass worse than Wilders. He's carrying 260lbs on legs skinnier than Wilders, and it wouldnt be long before AJs lead R hand put him to sleep. Fury otoh could keep the fight at a distance and spoil on the inside. I think in time, Joshua, if he doesnt have stamina issues, could be the next best HW champion. :think
Probably Ortiz due to his power, pressure, style etc. Both have the tools to beat Joshua but Ortiz would be the more dangerous choice.
I guess they're kinda equal. Maybe Ortiz slightly less because he might be caught on dope again after the fact.
Ortiz has looked good so far, big, powerful, good variety to his shots but I think his style suits Joshua more. He's a little flat footed and Joshua won't need to look for him and so while Ortiz will be dangerous so will Joshua with this clear abundance of power. Fury has the trickier style for Joshua. His size, reach, movement will force Joshua to chase Fury and I don't think Joshua is used to chasing a bigger more elusive opponent. I think Joshua can be frustrated by Fury, unlike with Ortiz who will give him opportunities to land and turn it around should he be trailing on the scorecards.
ortiz is the more dangerous fighter simply becausae he has more power. fury would be trickier / but is not really a puncher. no way team joshua make ortiz / the same would be said for team fury/klitchko/wilder unless mandatory as he does not bring any fanbase or money to the table while having enough about him to be competitive v all 3. fury is more established and we know more about him / ortiz has had the jennings fight in a style that suited him against a smallish /non puncher / but has faced no one else competitive as a pro. as an amatuer i have watched some ortiz fights and they more point to how he would fare v joshua as they were aginst opponents trying to win and firing back. ortiz was a good amatuer but not anything special bearing in mind he was a pro boxer given his cuban background fighting amatuers/ albeit he had to train/spar and fight rival cuban heavies and this has honed his skill level. as a pro he has now put on 30 lb of not needed weight and it has slowed down his footspeed and pro cuban heavies in big fights have appalling records /maybe ortiz is the exception to the rule. hypothetical fight v joshua is a hard to call one / ortiz has not faced a big puncher as a pro and joshua has not faced a fighter with ortiz skill set. its all what ifs. team joshua gameplan would be if i was trainer box like he did v breazeale/ throw the jab / box long with the jab from the outside / slip counters and check hook around southpaw lead / box at a steady pace/ let your hands go only in spurts and wait for mistakes/ be prepared to go 12 and dont look for a ko/ just let it happen if you land flush and then follow up. team ortiz train to be aggressor and not counterpuncher /feint /step off and throw lots of straight lefts down the pipe /take it to joshua and back him up/negating his power/make it a physical fight /maul and push and tie up to tire joshua out /rough him up on the inside. fighter who dictates his style on the other should win.
Right now I think I would say both Ortiz and Fury would beat Joshua. Ortiz is basically an actually good version of Whyte, and Whyte gave Joshua plenty of problems. Despite Whyte not being good at all. And Ortiz is very, very good. My only concern is his age. He's going to become old overnight one of these days. Fury would dance around Joshua all night and get an easy UD.
