 You dont give up do you? :p

Now Sugar, we both know that ain't happening. No need to go into the many and various reasons why not, that's old ground we've been over before. :good

I think he has a good chance of beating this version of Rigo at 126 and it'd be a great legacy fight. Anyway all talk of Cubans aside I think a return fight with LSC or unification with Selby would be my preferred options.

Selby will prob be willing to travel to Belfast too making that an easier fight to make. Part of me thinks they'd like to take on Warrington in Leeds though and cash in on his large fanbase there. Unfortunately for them I think Josh has his eyes on a less accomplished belt holder when he fights for a world title.

I'd like to see him fight Simpiwe Vetyeka (Easily setup with his promoter Gary Hyde from Cork)
Carl has already beat 2 unbeaten world champions this year. A homecoming fight should be on the cards.
Windsor would be a great venue. Might be a bit cold for Nov/Dec :-((

Carl would be suicide for josh. He has no grea height and reach advantage, and hence would be right there in range of Carl's much heavier shots.

Selby is nothing special....I find him hard to like as a boxer...he is all length and awkwardness. But he is a real threat to Carl due to his sheer size. Were they the same size Carl would murder selby.

What about a Rigondeaux fight.... that's the best fight out there.

Carl's afraid of rigo. Says the fight would generate no money.

While it's not the most lucrative fight, neither was the Avalos and Gonzalez Jr. Fights. He's not even asking rigo to come up and then he'll box him.

Just an out an out duck

I dont even agree it wouldn't be lucrative.

The fight would generate crazy money. Would be one of the biggest fights involving a British fighter this century.

Has he actually said that, or are people just making it up?

Poor list of options so didn't vote.
He should have fought Rigo last and he should fight Rigo next.

    1) Defend his belt in the USA against the regular champion Cuellar to keep the sanctioning body happy for the time being.

    2) Unify with the winner of a Selby v Warrington fight early next year (which could be PPV after they have raised their stocks)

    3) Fight either Santa Cruz or Quigg (which ever rematch has more demand at that point) at Windsor Park in the Summer next year.
