I remember losing all my v cash on him against Thompson, i thought that there was no way this guy wouldnt come in the best shape of his life to avenge his only loss. Then I saw pictures of him in the weigh-in and knew i was fked.
It still amazes me to this day how many chances Solis got from his supporters. He was a real talent and could have done some amazing things in the pros, but it became pretty obvious early on that he just didn't give a ****. If his appalling form against Klitschko wasn't enough... Then his weak half assed performances against Airich and L****n should have been the nails in the coffin for his supporters.. Hell, he barely beat L****n!
I'm not knocking the man because these types of fighters are the life blood of boxing but at what point as a fighter after you've been knocked out 22 times do you think "maybe boxing isn't for me" :think
These guys earn good money to take their falls, and some of them are pretty damn good at not taking too much damage(even those with a lot of KO loses on their records)
Right? If that was from 100 fights, 50 of them losses, half by KO, that would be one thing - but most of his time in the prizering has been spent getting iced. That's just relentless beating of a dead horse (along with your grey matter)
