Any news on the weight? I've got a hunch that Solis showed up at around 270+.

I don't know why anyone would pay to have these two fight.

Yeah. There was nothing else on the card, really. This basically was the main event - a 6-rounder mismatch. Like why even stage the event? Who bought tickets?

Exactly. There's always a place for gritty journeyman (even outright "bums") in the sport, but as a main attraction? I always wonder when I see cards like that.

In the fight with Solis he didnt really look like he took any damage that would give him brain damage, just body shots. I'm sure he has a job, and just gets in there for the extra payday. Hopefully he hasn't taken too much punishment to the head.

I remember the time when people still really rated Solis and some even favored him against Vitali when they met.
That didn't work out very well and then they came up with that ridiculous "event win" thing after him going down in 1 and hurting his knee in the process.

    Good times.

Solis looked unstoppable in that fight. Deontay should fight him next.

Looks like the local gym - must have put all the promotion money into the card.

The card was only made to show the local fans the new gym of the promoter.

Winning? If I go in the ring against Klitschko, land the first punch and then Imidiately get knocked out after a glancing blow to the temple, could I say I was winning the fight?
