They should make a tagline for this fight.

If they fight in NYC, Steven's homestate, they should call the fight, "Rumble in the Bronx" lol

Fun fight, Stevens looked like he might try and box a little more last time out. I'll take Lemeieux though

Actually I rate Stevens pretty highly ... against guys that want to trade with him. He's got some vicious flurries and I think that this fight is going to be a great one. I'll put my ass on the line and say that Stevens takes Lemieux out, if Lemieux tries to turn it into a war. :bbb

Fun fight ... Could be a war. Chins tested. Lemieux KO in 7 but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if it went the other way.

Stevens knocks him out fairly easily. There's a big gap in ability, although Lemieux has the edge in heart.

Like he knocked out Tureano Johnson, Jesse Brinkley and Derrick Findlay easily?

There's not a huge gap in skill level between them at this point, and Stevens chin is probably far more questionable than Lemieux's.

Agreed. Stevens might do a couple of things better than Lemieux but I don't think he's the overall more complete (or durable) fighter by much distance if at all.

Hard to say who has a better chin but Stevens does a better Turtle impression.

I'd be surprised if Stevens can beat Lemieux, I think Lemieux holds most advantages. Stevens only wins by striking lotto.

I think so too. Lemieux is better overall, I rate him as #2 MW. IMO he would beat Jacobs, Saunders, Eubank jr and Lee, but styles make fights and Stevens is all wrong for David.

David could face any other MW and be a favor because of his power and style, but Stevens is one who can counter with power that hurts.

Almost forgot their common opponent, N'Jikam who Lemieux beat faaaaaaaaaaaaaar more impressively, because he actually beat him.

I agree with the rest of the thread that Lemieux > Stevens overall. But I think if it becomes a slugging match, Stevens may just lay him out cold. In fact, I say that he does. Can Lemieux resist being drawn into a firefight? I don't think so.

This could be a brilliant matchup, frankly.
