So GGG bringing in 150k ppv gets burned, why the silence on Crawford?

People don't think that's all that matters, 150k might pay off everyone involved plus some, but the fighters aren't overpaid. There's two ways of looking at it: 1) they made a profit or, 2) Golovkin isn't that popular. Also, gate records is cool but how much were the tickets?

So you believe those numbers for Khan/Canelo, Mayweather/Maidana right? If you're consistent I'm fine with you believing that GGG/Lemieux did 150k. But most of us believe that these 3 PPV numbers are inflated.

"You don't expose anything, other then a simple mind and a lack of critical thinking."

This is coming from someone who believes anything promoters say . You're very naive.

Anyways I'm out, I don't want to get stuck in your little vortex. We all know you're autistic, and spend your life defending GGG. Like I said before, I'd be here for hours, if I went back and forth with you. You and loudon and odin's beard have a different level of desperation when it comes to a last word. We all know you guys are really anti-ggg though. You're not fooling anyone.

If GGG made that many in PPV, he would be doing more HBO PPV but he's not. I don't believe that number at all. Everybody knew Crawford vs Postol was going to flop and it did.

Hardly surprising when no one knows who the hell Crawford is

He also happens to have the most vocal trolling group of haters on this site, which makes it seem he's hated when in real life he's massively popular

Unlike the no one cares Ward and unknown Crawford

Crawford PPV was already gonna take a hit going in Both Top Rank & HBO knew this...
(Mostly 'cause of the fail of the GEE PPV)

GGG's PPV was supposed to be a launching pad into super star... They put everything into it. Alot of dudes got sh*t caned over the Flop/Flacid'ness of that PPV

For as much effort and investment HBO put into ggg, only getting 97k is pitiful. HBO spent nothing for promotion for Crawford/Postol which compounded their problems.

Yeah, why the silence. You don't expect Buds fans to...nah lol. GG's fans didn't come out and say, "Damn, GG did **** numbers" lol... So I ask...who should be vocal? Lol

Said pretty much the same thing about them both - they were both decent numbers for those fights, considering the relative purses offered in the fights.

Everyone recognized that Crawford was not a draw, he's a very skillful guy but was never claimed as the standard bearer of the sport as Golovkin's fans claimed he was. the claim of Golovkin was that he was HBO's darling, he was gonna generate at least 500K ppv buys because he was the "face" of boxing, according to his legion of fans.

Everyone knew from day one Crawford's ppv wasn't gonna sell, even Arum

I'm sorry..i don't believe the source for 97K is any more reliable than any other source. Do I believe the promoters and networks inflate the numbers..sure. I can see that. But I flaring them over 50%?? I don't believe they would stretch it that far.

I believe somewhere around 120 or sobis whay the fight most likely did.

Hershman contracting Ward for 3 fights costing 2 mln each cost him the job, stop spreading lies.
