Genuine question here Red....how old are you?
I just find it bizarre that an adult male would spend 10yrs+ of his life repeating the same old stuff.

For the record i'm certainly not a Leonard fan boy and wanted Marvin to take his head off so have no vested interest in these debates really.
I am honestly curious as to what occurred in the past to cause all of your obvious fixation?

Perhaps you should ask the same question to all of the OBVIOUS Leonard fan boys on this thread who argue year after year that Leonard beats any and every fighter from 147 to 168 based on the spurious assumption " because he is an ATG "

It doesn't get much more juvenile than that.

Holmes was about 5-1 fave over Spinks. Was Spinks just better?

Anyone that could beat Duran, Hearns and Hagler in his prime would certainly have a fair shot of beating Norris in his prime.

Not that SRL would win for sure, not saying that whatsoever, just saying that SRL was not in his prime when he fought Norris and Norris was in his prime, therefore logic stands to reason at the very least SRL would of given Norris a better fight in his prime rather than several years after.

    Foxy is 100% correct

If you expect an answer from me, you must first address the nuthugging srl fans who repeat the same old stuff

    Deal?

but Hagler was not in his prime

    Duran? He was a lightweight

Hearns? he was three years from his peak

Leonard with his one punch every 10-15 seconds approach against a moving target, would bode ill against a Norris-esque fighter

One who had the skills to box, bang, N move like Terry

I will concede the Ray was the more sound fighter in his mechanics of delivering a punch

and probably a higher class of fighter

The problem is Ray thinks too much, looking for "just the right opportunity at the right time" while Terry simply pastes you all over

and waiting vs pasting will always cost you on the scorecards

simply put, Norris was the much busier fighter

    it really IS that simple

    sorry, wont work

us two had a disagreement a few weeks back on Hagler-Monzon

However, it would have been a comforting thought

We are hardly alone in our opinions of Leonard who, came in 3rd in the most overrated category (Ring Magazine's 1999 fan poll)

Didn't expect anything less tbh but i'm a bit too old to be playing games with people on the internet i'm afraid and this will be my last post on this thread as i won't be drawn into these kind of debates as it is a complete waste of my time.

you say, "but hagler was not in his prime"

well that's a fair point, it is also the same point many of us were making for SRL when he fought Norris but you wouldn't accept it when it didn't suit you because you don't desire to reach a fair debate.

you just want to lump everyone that disagrees with you into fanboys so as you can keep denying the hate you feel for SRL,,,

in Foxy's case its because his all time favorite fighter is Duran and when Duran beat SRL in their first fight he bragged and bragged, until the second fight whereby he still hasn't recovered because he is not man enough to DEAL with it fairly and justly inside.

Is that the same reason you hate SRL so much?

By the way, SRL is not my favorite fighter by a long shot, there are many more fighters I have enjoyed much more than he, I even went through a hate period on him myself back in the day for not mixing it up enough for my likes, I just got over it after years of hearing haters go so overboard about him I didn't want to be in their ignorant club anymore, if that makes me a SRL fan boy in your eyes, well good :deal
