Avoided eye contact, awkward handshake, fast talking, again and again mentioning he fights for 22 years.

Kovalev already won this fight. He's also much bigger.

Wishful thinking on your part. Not sure what you expected from him.

Ward's timid body language read it all. Just look at the video, His body stance didn't line straight up to Kovalev but at an angle, suggesting intimdation. He didn't make much eye contact also, his handshake lacked confidence.

Ward is afraid. He has no power, he can't hurt Kovalev.

    Ehhh what? No

If anyone was nervous it was Kovalev.

Ward is extraordinarily arrogant (not a bad thing for an elite athlete), he has zero self doubt.

Sergie forgot the bottom part of his clown costume.

too bad the oversize shirt couldn't hide the over sized tummy.

Are those man****s I see? Belly divets?

Neither looked scared of the other. Both seemed pretty indifferent.

"Sergie could this fight be for who is th best P4P fighter in the sport"

    Sergie: yeah I guess.

    sums it up.

in my personal experience power is SUCH an overated attribute in the sport. especially against a guy whos specialty is nullifying it. power is often seen as a double edged sword, you come to rely on it yourself and thats why alot of power punchers lack strong fundamentals. i gotta give credit to kovalev in this regard as well as GGG they both seem to have very strong fundamentals and suprisingly good ring IQ (GGG is also a master at cutting off the ring i feel)

now after saying all of that you would think i pick kova? nope i think ward is to smart and will work off the inside, i think kova will get frustrated early and ward will pull away with the fight
