How can you sit there and say body language means nothing look at the Tyson Spinks fight as well as many of the overmatched fighters he fought around then their body language showed that they thought they were going to lose before the fight began.

 

Floyd looked intimidated when Shane came into the ring too. But, none of that really matters until the guys get into the ring. Ward will be Ward and Kovalev will be Kovalev once they get loose in there. Up until then, there will be some nervousness. Kovalev wasn't very comfortable in the ring either last night. It's just a sign of respect really. Neither guy is "afraid" of anything but losing that zero.

Yeah I caught that. But Ward does that with all the guys he fights. He doesn't interact with them much.

After reading Kovalev's body language last night I came away with the impression that he's not very confident in his chances come Nov 19 - and for good reason. Ward is the total package and I suspect Kovalev knows he only has a puncher's chance...

Ward looked a little scared, and he probably was. But to think that means jack when there's an entire training camp to go through focusing on beating Kovalev is pretty ignorant.

Brand has opponent syndrome. Reminds me of Bermane Stiverne as well. They expected that they would get knocked out, didn't, and want to talk **** afterwards but they do it in a way that exposes how they knew they had no chance to win which is pathetic.
