Doubt it. Ward makes Beterbiev look featherfisted. On a serious note, yes, but Ward's punches are sharp enough to get some respect.
Ward isn't a hard hitter but he has enough pop to do what he needs to do. Kovalev is very susceptible to getting knocked down though. The way he commits when he comes forward will give Wards all the momentum they need to hurt Kovalev. All Ward needs to do is time and land the shot.
About a half of Ward fights ended by way of KOs. Ward hits a bit hard but not so hard. I think that Kovalev can take those shots without a flinch.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ward knocks Kovalev down on a well timed counter. He doesn't have enough to keep him out of the fight though. It may just p1ss him off.
Of course he can, if Ward beats him, it will be on points not by KO. No way Ward can KO Kovalev. I seriously doubt Ward could KO any LHW in the top 10. (and I'm a Ward fan)
ko4clev would laugh at wards shots. its his head he needs to look out for, and sergey needs to focus on not falling behind on points moreover the longer ward lasts.
