Chang: Zapata KO 3, and the fight with Katsuo Tokashiki is terrific. Zapata: I liked his performances against Joey Olivo and German Torres Arbachakov: Kittikasem II Johnson: Vs. Arthur Johnson Canto: Oguma, Avelar. There are a bunch of 'em.
Lopez never fought above 108 pounds. Most of his fights were are the strawweight 105 limit. A rare puncher who was also a patient technician, Lopez is a tough out below 108 for sure. I'd pick Jimmy Wilde to beat him. His quick in and out style I think would throw off Lopez methodical approach.

I need to see more of Lopez. Wilde has very good skills and freakish power, always a hard combo to beat.
Chang would be the only one I’d be 100% sure of. I reckon Lopez knocks Gushiken out. Carbajal has a punchers chance against him, at least at his best. Yuh probably gets twatted with uppercuts throughout. He’d have to get inside the jab, which he was capable of, but I don’t think he’d be able to do it consistently. Zapata would likely be a nightmare matchup, but Lopez could bang him out. I don’t think Lopez had the raw power of Ursua, but he still hit hard and was very precise. I think Zapata’s length, herky jerky defensive style and southpaw jab would wreak havoc on Finito’s radar though. At Flyweight, take your pick, plenty would get it done IMO
Do you think that's the case? EsoeEspeci given the two losses (although 1 easily could have gone his way) Lopez is a guy that I don't necessarily consider over rated, but I do think he's held in higher esteem than people who exist within his weight class from a different era based on his name value alone. Lopez was an incredible fighter imo, really well rounded, but there's been some fighters of real quality in those weights who can definitely hold their own. I mean I don't wanna go all Ivan Calderon people but hes another extremely gifted small guy.
