That's a lot of confidence coming from a guy who gives Leonard so much Shlt for facing LIGHTWEIGHT duran, given that most of those men were rising in weight, most of them were past prime and one of them even humiliated him... And Saul Montana? Seriously.

Lalonde was 167 for the Leonard fight - about five lbs less than his usual 172.. Leonard was 165 - about seven lbs heavier than his last bout with Hagler and about 20 lbs more than most fights he ever had period.. Who had to make the bigger adjustment here? Who was at the greater disadvantage? Can we also make concessions for Ray being older and off for 19 months? If the answer to these questions is "no" then I can understand why you're placing so many standards on Leonard while making excuses for his opponents... because you're desperate.

Lightweight Duran had just won the WBC middle weight title by beating Iran Barkley within the SAME calendar year as he fought Leonard, and in a match that was a good candidate for fight of the year. Is this what you consider a good retort?

Dunno why you guys even bother conversing with him, he is the forums very own Charlie Zelenoff, a whole load of hot air and not much else.
I spent the best part of 15 yrs dealing with people like that on various doors, you know the type, telling the world how tough they are etc whilst stood behind a crowd, so i can spot them pretty sharpish and believe me, when push comes to shove they are anything but tough.
I was also honoured to count Roy Shaw as a personal friend and let me tell you, that man was the real deal when it came to chest beating and he certainly wouldn't have taken to internet forums in an attempt to prove it either.

No doubt i will receive some amusing response from 'Charlie' but there you go, i've had worse.
