That should put into perspective how good Khytrov was as an amateur (the most feared in amateur boxing), who body shot KO'd Alimkhanuly in the same year Alimkhanuly became World Amateur Champion.

Yes, exactly. Amateur scoring can be a bit wonky, but even in the Olympics you don't get given points for missing or for consistently buying the other guy's feints.

 

Alimkhanuly is elite, like Lomachenko he loves to read his opponent and adapt to them as they are fighting.
