Ward didn't show up for the presser. Will he show up for the fight?

Considering Ward has a net worth of only 2 mil and his last fight only averaged about 742k viewers he should seriously consider not only actually following through with the fight, but doing everything he can to help promote it.

It's a bit too early to jump to conclusions, but it's disheartening to hear any issues have come up considering we were told everything was signed and agreed upon back in July. Maybe Ward got injured? I can't see how Ward could possibly avoid this fight at this point in time. Hopefully he doesn't pull a Eubank and it's just something small they want adjusted to the contract.

Why are you Andre Ward fans so quiet now?

 

I posted a few weeks back when Itskowitch left. Nobody really paid attention to the move, but it's a huge red flag that he bailed with the fight that could've catapulted Ward (and Roc) back into the limelight only a few months away.

There's no reason for him to leave Roc with that fight around the corner unless there was something going on to jeopardize it we don't know about.

 

Kov's people are the ones who are having problems with the venue, not Ward.
