Ward didn't show up for the presser. Will he show up for the fight?

It's funny how you will just blatantly lie to cover for a fighter just because he's half the same color as you.

Duva is a stupid ****, who schedules a press conference days after your opposition had a fight? She was informed that Ward would not show up, but decided to go through anyways. Probably just trying to create buzz though.

 

I have to say first that im big Kovalev fan,second i believe that he has to swap his promoter,not sure if now is the time for this but this woman cant get him big fights and big money.

About Ward,i knew and expected from him to be willing to have this fight in Oakland as usual,so its not a surprise really.Either that or he will pull out of the match later,even if he signs the contract on first place.

To sum it up,Kovalev man.....get new promoter,wasting ur career and fighting for no money,being loyal is nice and all but still got family to feed.

Stevenson unification failed cuz of Duva and HBO,Beterbiev fight failed in Russia,now this....pointless really.

 

What's your point? Duva's team is the one that was doing the scheduling, why did they schedule it a couple days after his fight.

Ward just had a 8 week training camp, and a fight, regardless if he had an easy fight or not, it's just unusual for Duva to plan a press conference a couple days after he fights. She couldn't even wait a damn week. I asked this to some other people before, name me some fights where a boxer coming off a fight a couple days before goes to a press conference for a new fight? Let me guess, you're not going to answer the question right? Go back to licking metal.

Been saying this was getting pushed back at the very least if not happening altogether for some time now. This is all on team Ward!

 

Ward calls off fight. Sues Kovalev. Sues HBO. Sues Roc Nation. Applies to have trial moved to Oakland. Loses everything.

 

Is anyone really surprised? I mean c'mon. Ward has been protected
his whole career and had the late Dan Goosen set him up pretty for
the S6 and the Dawson farce, but now that he may have to fight on
even terms against the best opponent he's ever faced. No way. I'll
beleive this fight happens only when the two are standing across the
ring from one another.
Remember when us posters were commenting on how Ward looked
scared in the ring after the brand session? We were right and he is.
He wants no part of KOvalev and neither does Virgil Hunter.
I predict this fight will not happen and I never really thought it would.

Like one of the last poster said: I will believe Ward is fighting Kovalev when I hear a bell and see both men in the same ring, at the same time. Otherwise, Ward's history makes me suspicious, he is no Jean Pascal fighting the best, no BS.
