By the way beating a couple of HOFamers, does NOT make you an ATG. Rational folks believe beating a number of fellow ATG's makes you one of them, and Palamino was NOT an ATG.

I think it does, especially if they're prime and one of them happens to be a p4p ATG giant. I think Duran would be picked over a lot of great welters in fantasy fights.

Well there are some who would disagree with you. And you should ask THEM why they inducted him into the world boxing hall of fame, the International Boxing Hall of Fame, and the California Boxing Hall of Fame.

I don't think there are very many welters who would be favored over the man who beat prime versions of Leonard and Palamino and who ONLY lost to Leonard at that weight. Some of the more obvious one would be Robinson, Armstrong, Hearns, possibly Mayweather... I don't see a ton of others receiving huge odds. Duran is a head to head monster in a lot of fantasy fights, even at welter.

Palamino simply was NOT an ATG, though Leonard definitely was at Welter.

As for Duran being picked over plenty of other guys in fantasy fights, you may well be right, but the whole point is they are FANTASIES.

Not only did you claim Leonard beat Kalambay instead of Kalule, you went on to claim Norris lost to Montana as opposed to Santana, and that Leonard had already beaten ALL the guys Hearns fought at 154.
