Ward didn't show up for the presser. Will he show up for the fight?

Sorry I usually wait and see if the story fleshes itself out more before jumping to any conclusions. I don't trust either of them. I could see Ward not going because he doesn't want too or I can see him asking for the date to ne pushed back and Duva being a b*tch and going through with it anyway. The only people I could see at fault are Ward and/or Duva like I said.

Right, it's the Duva *****es fault! I see it now. Its her fault for telling everyone to show up at the agreed upon date and time. What the hell.

    "Could be eithers fault."

    Right... that damn ***** duva!

I could see her being a b*tch about it. Yes I could but saying she is a b*tch as a person is quite different. One pertains to this instance the other pertains to how she acts all the time. There is a difference. But please continue your battle against reading comprehension and make a mountain out of a mole hill. I will wait to see what unfolds over the next couple of days instead of jumping to conclusions and trying to start arguments with anonymous posters on the internet.

Right so they could all be at fault, yet you believe that that ***** just had them all show up and not tell Ward. You can blame grammar all you want but you're just making BS excuses for Ward while you pretend to be impartial. The joke is on you. :patsch

You know it is headed down this path, right as rain.

Not much IQ is left guess, since you don't have much to begin with.

Have you ever been in the business of planning anything? It takes time to get everyone together. The media, HBO, Kovalev, the trainers, etc.

I never said ages...stop exaggerating like a *****. A couple weeks at least. Ward isn't showing up because he's afraid to leave his hometown. LA is a scary place and Ward can't get out of his comfort zone.

Firstly, they already knew a week or so ago Ward was not coming to the presser. They were told this.

I don't see what the big deal is about that. Of course he isn't coming. He just had a fight. It's better to take some time to relax, and get his affairs in order, before dedicating himself to what will amount to months of
media attention, tough negotiations, training etc, for this very important fight. If he knows what's good for him, and I am sure he does, he will get back to business soon enough. Roc Nation wouldn't want to drop the ball on this, if they want to be taken seriously in the boxing game.

The fight should not be anywhere but Vegas. Negotiations shouldn't break down because Ward wants it at Oracle Arena. That would be unacceptable. Neither guy is making Mayweather/Pacquiao money in this fight. So, that shouldn't be an issue either. Both should expect career high purses, though.

This is Duva's side of things. I am sure we will get Roc Nation's and Team Ward's side of the story soon enough.

I thought Ward looked forced and down after his myriad tune ups,he's not daft,he knows he's half the man he was in the super six and to beat Kovalev that's where he'd have to be,despite the talk men know who's the best is,who's the best football team, best driver etc and so it is with boxing.

Like I thought, no source or anything to back what you said up . You're a joke. Like I said, it's very easy to predict what stupid people will do or say.

    :deal

Ward has wasted valuable time and goodwill - needs to get out there and sell this fight or take 30k.:deal

Anymore relaxed and Ward's career would need oxygen.

Roc Nation ain't exactly the picture of stability nor credibility from what I read.:deal

I have no idea why ward didn't show up if this was pre scheduled but who the **** schedules a presser for 2 days after a fight?

Ward's taking his career 1 fight at a time like everyone else. If he is satisfied with not being the wealthiest boxer of all time or the most accomplished, that's up to him. He has a beautiful wife and what appears to be a happy family. That's what matters most in the end.

But, the fact remains, he informed Duva and Co. well ahead of time he wouldn't be attending. The presser should have been cancelled and rescheduled. Kovalev does not have enough popularity, charisma, etc. to promote this fight by himself. Neither does Ward either, really. So, they need each other.

Roc Nation doesn't have any real track record in boxing, yet. But, I don't think Duva does either, tbh.

Ive told ya'll this from the beginning Ward doesn't want Kovalev. Any one that still support that coward cannot be a REAL boxing fan.
Mayweather, Canelo. Cotto & Ward are cut from the same cloth. Theyre Prima Donna's not FIGHTERS!!! They cannot & will not fight anyone unless they get every advantage & the odds are stacked high in their favor so they cannot lose. Mayweather started this Bull Feces. Amazingly people STILL bought his staged PPV's . Anyone that did can only blame themselves for the Corruption that reigns today
As far as Ward,Canelo & Cotto are concerned Let them join Oscar & Mayweather, don the black fishnets as the drag dance group
THE DUCKING DIVA's. One theng for sure not a FIGHTER!!! among them
