The fight should be in Oakland, since there's tons of fans there and Ward is A-Side

And what were the reasons why you had doubts previously?

Seems to me a lot of people have been saying Ward is afraid to fight Kovalev for a long time now but I don't see a real good reason for why they think this. It seems like they just dreamt it up in their imaginations and convinced themselves and are looking for things to reinforce this belief.

Ward being afraid to fight Kovalev is pretty absurd. I don't know why some keep repeating that when there's nothing to base on.

Otown has mostly fans who can't afford to pay more than $25 per ticket. Fail thread. The fight needs to goto Vegas nowhere else.

There is a bit of an argument for it being in Oakland

Not for MVCs troll purpose reason inning, but because this isn't necessarily a VEGAS fight

This is a BIG fight, but strangely neither fighter has a huge following

The difference is that Ward has little following outside of Oakland but he does have a huge ego. kovalev on the other hand I doubt gives a **** where the fight takes place

If the fight happens at the T-mobile I don't see it being packed out with loyal kov or ward fans with an electric atmosphere........so in many ways it ain't a big deal if the fight is in Oakland

But Ward is not the A side, but he has a small town home support, Kovalev has support but not really a concentrated following who will travel anywhere or who are stationed in one particular city

Nah he lost the right to say that by taking on less competitive fights.
He's not even fighting the best in the PBC at LHW.

You're right it is a big fight but with a limited following, unlike Thurman and Porter who are in the new glamour division the light heavy division doesn't have the same following,I reckon a lot of boxing fans would pay for this but it would be better served on free view.
If Wards afraid of anything it's that he's not the same level as before and this fight may come down to just a few percent either way.
