Bull Feces!!! Cotto only fought the rematch because he thought he stood a chance against a basically one eyed Tony Margarito.
As it was Tony was poised to repeat the destruction of Cotto but was robbed when that NY doc stopped the fight to save Cotto'a ass LOL atsch

 

marg looked like **** in this fight and the fight before it against nobodies ...

i won money 220 bucks watching marg v cotto 2 because i knew what would happen

cotto did a beautiful job outboxing him, marg was finding more success in the later half of the fight theres no doubt but NO WAY was he getting to cotto enough to slow him down and stop him and by that point he had built a huge lead on the scoreboard

marg was not stopping **** and if they fought today? come on.. cottos coming off some decent performances vs elite level fighters while marg is struggling with nobodies... cotto stops him ill perm ban bet you on that (though the fight wont happen)

also ill perm ban bet you canelo stops marg (that fight could happen)

 

no thanks, Marg is beyond shot and finished at the top level

 

Both were very good fights, not sure however what we would expect from a third fight. Cotto would win clearly.

At this point Margarito's career is even worst off than Shannon Briggs. In fact, he is even less deserving of a thread.

 

Cotto should wqnt that fight if only to get his revenge for Tony takng his soul in the first fight. Marg is absolutely finished. Cotto's only reason not to fight him is to avoid giving him a payday.
