Joyce has a good chance of getting to the final. That fight took a lot out of dychko.

Joyce looks technically and tactically hor-ren-dous.

What do you mean with ''deserve''? :blood
In the ams a ref will only count if he feels the fighter needs the rest to recover. It's no extra point or something either.

    I don't think Russell-Gaibnazarov was a robbery at all.
Russell was quite ineffective. Gaibnazarov was hitting, running and holding - but he landed meaningful shots. In the final round, he couldn't care less about losing a point, he wanted to protect his 2 point lead. Whoever has a problem with the scoring of this fight needs to employ double standards when assessing Floyd Mayweather.

Joyce doesn't impress me either he seems to push his punches out and is so slow.

I've enjoyed the boxing so far, been some good fights. But amateur boxing still have serious problems with corruption and the refs are just useless. I mean is there any point in them even being in there when they refuse to score knockdowns and allow fighters to keep cheating but never take away a point after the 30th warning for holding or coming in with the head or for the 3rd or 4th low blow.

I`m super psyched for this final. Bantamweight`s such a stacked Olympic class, and these guys are obviously the two standouts. I don`t think we`ve seen the best of Stevenson, but Ramirez is a bit more versatile and punches from more angles and takes it. At least I hope he does, because **** USA.

The french guy looked horrible. Nistor after loosing first round(the romanian guy who knocked AJ) after knocking down twice his opponent and loosing scandalousy said that he expected that cause AIBA wants to make the french guy( forgot his name) champion and he can loose only by KO and they know Nistor is KO artist, so the other guy who got on the land twice advanced to 1/4 so the french guy can beat him easily. yesterday i watched the french guy and he is really bad. The Croatian should KO him:)

I agree its not easy to call but i gotta go with Ramirez, more experienced and really is the complete package when hes on form. Having said that Stevenson shouldn't be written off

Some news in regards to Levit. He will receive prize money for medal as if he won gold medal.

As far as I understand Kazakh trainers knew who will get gold and told Levit that the only way he can win is KO, which he tried to do, but judges saved his opponent. So for his effort he will be rewarded as if he won gold.

Last September, BBC Newsnight presented evidence that Azerbaijan had paid millions of dollars in an international boxing organization, in return for a guarantee that two Azerbaijanis would win gold medals at these London Olympics. They found documents showing a $9 million bank transfer, funneled through Switzerland, to a boxing organization owned by AIBA, which oversees Olympic boxing. Whistleblowers reported that the money came from an Azerbaijan government minister, and were strictly a cash-for-medals exchange.

Hence why Mayweather was the king of compubox. The operators would see Floyd throw a punch and just assume that it hit whether they saw it clearly or not. I remember watching the Cotto/Canelo fight and Lampley saying that Canelo was landing 50 percent of his power shots and Kellerman saying "If Canelo had landed that many power shots Cotto would be asleep on the floor right now."
