David Tua vs Rocky Marciano

Both were give and take fighters. No one ever hit Marciano as hard as Tua hit. And Marciano was dropped and wobbled in spite of this. Draw your own conclusions.

 

Again, both guys were GIVE and TAKE fighters, Marciano quite a bit moreso in the TAKE department than Tua. This means Marciano is going to TAKE a fair amount of shots from Tua. He was dropped and stunned by far lesser punchers. Tua walked through bigger punchers than Marciano. This is problematic.

 

Reality has absolutely NO BEARING on these half witted fantasy threads.

Moronic Muricans will ALWAYS pick Murican fighters over any NON Murican fighters because they know LESS than FUK ALL about life outside of POXY MURICA.

Marciano NEVER faced anyone who could hit with the left hand like TUA could. NO problem to scabby Muricans, they will just TELL you the muppet Joe Walcott could.

That is all well and good, but the problem arises when they think you are as inherently stupid as they are, and as a consequence you must believe it.

Much like believing in the non existent W.M.D.'s when they invaded Iraq.

Didn't Tua fight the vast majority of his career and virtually all of his big fights in America? Just my two cents but you should save the "scabby Murican" rant for a more apt comparison.

If you really want to be blunt though, I'd bet a lot of money that most American boxing fans who aren't white and who weren't born before 1970* wouldn't favor Marciano over the bigger talented modern heavies that get brought up in these threads. Make of that what you will.

*exception are the small group who grew up hanging on every word as their fathers/grandfathers/uncles regaled them with boxing folklore.

I know this is an old thread but we've been talking about Marciano a lot lately.

After watching Tua in his pro debut(at 201 lbs), him and Marciano look about the same size but Tua looks fatter.

David Tua by KO in less than 1 minute. The only people who think any thing difference are racist white Marciano fans.

Yes shame on these members . They know who they are and they spoil it for members who boxing is
their hobby and they like to discuss boxing with boxing fans worldwide. How race comes into it is really
small minded. If somebody likes Ward, Mayweather, Golovokin, Fury well good on them and if they
get critised i'm sure its a mixture of seriousness and jest which is fine. World would be boring if we
agreed on everything.
But bringing in race shows lack of initiation and thought and proves there intention is to provoke
other members into argument. I admit i find Amir Khan, Canelo, David Haye , Tyson Fury annoying.
Its nothing to do with race they are really annoying !!
I know i'll get slaughtered for this post but i'm sure i'm not the only member who tries to be
logically and analytical with their posts but is alway's hammered by a member who only
intention on this forum is to discredit and smeer anybody post they disagree with by any means
possible. Disagree that's fine but please don't use race as a excuse to validate your argument.
