beautiful work in the first 2 by Daniyar but that Uzbek was as resilient and brave as they come.

Break down the first round for me and tell me how he won. Cause I just hear a bunch of people saying "Conlan won the first round" without anything back it up. It sounds so emotional, no logic.

I already broke it down and showed everyone the scoring punches Nikitin landed. Now someone do the same for Conlan.

the russian got the nod, when he didn't do as much as avila, veita did more than the chinese fighter and didn't, it's bias

if it's a close fight it doesn't mean it's not a bad decision, that's what judges are for to see who is the ring general and who's landing better shots, it's supposed to be well matched at this level, and veitia clearly won the rounds

for u people who don't know veitia has 4 wins over inoue who's in the top ten p4p, he's two strong wins over that chinese guy as well

Mother****er we know how to score fights. Conlan landed more punches, and he landed the cleaner punches...that's how he won round one mofo. Nik barely landed anything in the first. He got outhustled. If you think that Nik won the first round then you're just biased. Foh. Break down the first round. Foh.

And he well deserved those wins over Inoue, he fought him aggressively and beat him to the punch. I didn't watch the previous fight with the chinese kid but imo he didn't the deserve to win this fight.

He wasn't the ring general, he was following Hu. He couldn't cut off the ring and he wasn't throwing, almost at all. Plus the few clean punches that landed seemed to be 55/45 in favor of Hu.

    Just my opinion though.

And we were robbed of our first heavyweight gold medal, don't see me whining bro, don't worry Cuba will still win tons of gold but yea i see your reasoning. I really wanted the best fighters to win gold but with so many robberies that wish was impossible.

Plus Rabi vs Iglesias would have been awesome.

Daniyar beat Igleasias, Rabi beat Daniyar pretty clearly but we all know triangle theory doesn't work in boxing.

Anyways Cruz is prob a lock to win gold against my boy Adilbek who seems destined to always lose to Cruz in the finals. :-(

What cleaner punches? The clean punches that were landing cleanly on the gloves?

Thank you for showing me that you don't know anything about amateur scoring...or scoring in general.

Go back to drinking your 40. You ain't done yet.

You're a true clown and a couple of posters have said that about your outlook on this fight. You must be Russian. Nik didn't do **** in the first round. He didn't do ****. Conlan forced the action and he was landing. He threw way more punches, but somehow you're saying that Nik WON the first round. Foh. You're the mofo drunk on Baltika clown.

    This is my 2 cents.

Round 1: Conlon wins the first on almost non-stop activity and accuracy, Nikitin lands a few hard shots but not nearly enough to even edge the round.

Round 2: Conlon wins the second round, he landed the far cleaner shots in combination, he went toe to toe and outworked him, blocked most of Nikitin's punches on his gloves and clearly won it.

Round 3: Conlon wins the third, he landed beautiful rights throughout the round, he outworked him, slipped many of his shots, Nikitin landed a few good left hooks, but was gassing and was outworked.

Michael Conlon clearly won and was robbed.

    Thank you. :good

Most of us conceded the 3rd to Nik, and when you watch the whole round a case could be made for 3-0.
