Olympic Boxing

I think there are only 2-3 Olympic events most people care about.

 

CST regardless of how we argue at times...when you aren't being on purposely biased you're a good poster. Not because of what you said here...but when you don't let posters aggravate you lol, you're a good poster. And there are very few here. I like Sugar88 even when we get into it, McGrain and a few others but that's about it.

 

Why hasn't New York City ever hosted the Olympics?

 

Come on man, Conlan busted Nikitin up in the second.

I'd probably have to watch the fight again because maybe I missed something the first time I watched it, but I don't see how you guys are so adamant about calling it a huge robbery.

 

Stevenson is going to have to stop Nikitin to avoid getting robbed.

 

Anytime a guy loses a fight that you think that he won it's a huge robbery.

Conlan didn't snap because he was a sore loser. I know a sore loser when I see one. Conlan IMO clearly won.

 

Wrong. A lot of people are swayed by Conlan's whining. They're swayed by the anti-Russian sentiment. They're swayed by the biased commentary. They're swayed by the media who has been attacking all the Russian athletes. They're swayed by a pitty pat punches and not clean effective punching.

I ain't Russian. Conlan got staggered twice by clean shots from Nikitin in the first round. He ate a lot of clean shots in the last minute, but the commentators won't mention that because that's not part of their narrative.

 

I wouldn't ever let **** pass years ago, but I've learned to ignore posters and posts without putting them on ignore lol... I try not to troll either, but some **** you just can't let slide all of the time lol.

Let's throw some more logic into the argument. According to COMPUBOX:

What does everyone say now? You may not like it, but Facts are Facts. Nikitin landed more clean shots in the first round. You can b*tch an moan all you want and tell me that Conlan won the first round, but you don't have anything to back it up.

The 2nd and 3rd had Conlon landing more punches, but Nikitin's punches are harder and cleaner.

Idk man, I watched the fight after hearing it was a huge robbery, and when I watched it I was expecting a big robbery, and it wasn't there. Maybe Conlan did win clearly, but I was watching the fight with a bias or opinion, who knows. If 95% of the people who watched say Conlan won, and I and like two others say Nikitin won, then I'm probably in the wrong lol.

Either way, I'm not a fan of Conlan's whining. Levit who was clearly and blatantly robbed took the loss, let the audience and the viewers show their displeasure, and is going home with his head held high and probably has a great pro career in front of him, Conlan IMO is a whiny little kid who threw a temper tantrum.

 

They must be new goons because when I read it on the NBC app that shows the fights when you go into boxing it's smack dead in front of you.
