    A much better fighter than his record shows, someone was who was a completely underdog going into the fight. NO one thought Vincent was going to win this, no one. Not even Vincent himself. :yep.

    But he won in the most emphatic way possible. He outdogged Kostya, outfought him, showed much more courage/guts. And eventually wore him down, cutting him up in both eyes, and then knocked him out. Tszyu was out on his feet and didn't know where the hell he was when he was stopped. :smoke:rofl

    One of my favourite fights of all time. It was unbelievable. I was so happy for Vincent. A fighter who never ever gives up, ever. The modern day Rocky, with one of the biggest shockers in modern day boxing.

    I was crying damnit when Vincent was holding his first ever world title.

    Good win but KT obviously had an off night or didn't take vince seriously. If they fought 10 times KT would win 9. I'm not taking anything away from the win just stating facts.

    He was GG back in the day right up until he found that he had a guy who could talked his punch. Then it came down to skills and heart. And we never even got a rematch.

    Look at both their resumes and use some critical thinking. Also KT has nothing in common with GGG, his style was a lot more like victor postols just with more power.

    Their resumes mean nothing, and when I mentioned Kostya, I'm talking "hype" only...not styles.

    No doubt vince was the better man that night but I'm saying if they fought 10 times KT would win 9 easily.

    We would never know this now would we? Because we never got a rematch, which easily could have happened.

    Vincent's style was a stylistic nightmare for Kostya's.

    Great courage on Vincent that night.

    I was screaming that all Kostya fought was old men. Ate humble pie when he beat Judah. After the Judah fight the hype was crazy. Then along comes Phillips, and Kostya forgot about the rematch. :lol:

    It's also well documented he ducked a rematch with Phillips. Just saying. :hi:
