Comes off as a puzzling comment for Overeem of all people to be making.
Overreem out of everyone should know how strong Pride was, as he was getting his brains beat out left and right back there. UFC was a 2nd class org that not many gave a **** about at the time. It’s like saying he’s not the best ever because he didn’t fight in WEC or Cage Rage. He also proved his superiority by beating 6 UFC HW champs.

Maybe now because Fedor is beyond shot. In 2008-09 when this fight came close to being made, Lesnar would've gotten killed.

A prime Fedor would have savaged him like a pitbull.

After that one Brock could have gotten work as a posterboy for the drinking straw industry.

While Fedor was dominating ATGs at their own game, this steroid muncher was getting his glass chin shattered on a regular basis.

Overeem has a glass jaw and has lost so many times but I give him credit because his losses don't affect his future performances, he always bounces back and has good wins again. Something that is not common I think for fighters that lose so many times in the fashion he's lost.

    Tim Sylvia 270 lb 6'8
    Jeff Monson 240lb 6'0'
    Andrei Arlovski 250lb 6'4'
    Heath Herring 250lb 6'4'
    Semmy Schilt 290lb 6'11'

And then there are the "small" guys with world class skills such as Cro Cop and Nogueira that he took on in their primes who weighed only 230lb or so.

You can compare their fights to see who would have tooled who. Fedor took on Heath Herring as a virtually unknown underdog, when Heath was on a mission and angling for a rematch for the Pride HW title against Nogueira.

Fedor beat the living shyte out of Herring in 2002 so badly that he looked like he got hit by a truck. The fight was stopped at the end of round 1 because it was clear that he was going to be hospitalized otherwise. Lesnar laboured to a decision win over a well - faded Herring in 2008.

Against the powerful but limited Carwin Lesnar looked like he was going to be stopped himself until Carwin gassed and was stopped. Fedor ate guys like Carwin for breakfast.

    Say no more.

Fedor wasnt a bad fighter but he was vulnerable to an early onslaught as in his 3 1st round and his 2nd round ko's suggest.brock would be to much for him

I'm not sure Fedor would have beat Lesnar. I think it's more probably the way around, Lesnar is just too big and strong.

Anyway Overroids should keep his mouth shut and thanks he didn't take more brain damage than he already has
