Is he going to be fighting an even worse opponent than smith in december? Because.. why on earth would HBO put this on free tv when canelo has a draw of around 600,000 PPV buys?
Canelo vs Rosado would do 600,000 if not more. That's 39 million if it's at 60$ per buy. Why the heck is HBO passing up on 40 million?

If Canelo fights on regular HBO it will be for marketing purposes. The goal is to mke Canelo-GGG into a mega event.

HBO is not free tv. Did he sign to Haymon?

I think HBO might've lost some cash on Canelo-Khan, and IMO will def lose money on the Canelo-Smith PPV.

So Canelo gonna take a paycut for december and give something back to his fans.

Probably realized they aren't going to throw him against PPV-worthy opponents every fight out yet, so, decided to do an every-other sort of thing, maybe.

 can the business experts explain this Canelo move to me please?

I was told by these business experts that Canelo not fighting Golovkin was a very smart business move.

Golovkin is in a huge PPV fight on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK getting a lorry load of money and Canelo is on Boxnation in the UK fighting the weakest champion at 154 and it's not even a PPV event in the US.

That's not A-Side is it? That's not superstar is it? You delusional haters were told and you didn't listen.

:good They have gone silent on this because they like look a little silly now. They were told by many of us that GBP and Canelo were just in damage control mode and said everything these people wanted to hear but they were utterly defiant and refused to listen to anybody who told them this is how it would play out.

DuckNelo is unpopular now after Ducking GGG
Free TV is what they can do to get fans interests in his next fight.
    Accept that

Dude when HBO signed Alvarez the contract stipulated one non PPV fight a year, as far as Canelo-GGG Smith is a better fight than Brook, neither is a PPV also GGG is b-side to an unproven Welter British fans support their fighters this fight isn't a PPV in the US either so what is the real argument.
