and Floyd was naturally 3 divisions bigger, and failed to make weight, and got on the drip... how did you feel when the shot to pieces lightweight smacked the dirty ***** on the chin?

He may have been shot to pieces, but Floyd still won 12 rounds in this bout.

Marquez's best career victory at the same division came almost 3 years after this bout.

JMM wasn't shot and you could see Floyd respected him hence him not even trying to make weight so he as usual had an advantage in the fight.

Cracks me up how people defend Floyd's 'not-making-weight' purposely as a valid tactic. Marquez had no business in that ring; he went for a payday - and got one - but Floyd would've held all advantages anyway. Not making weight against a guy coming up 3 divisions is embarrassingly disrespectful.

    Shameful.

FMJ i think didn't follow the catchweight and paid a penalty right? But still 12 round domination from long ring rust

So what's your point? That he beat another fellow featherweight at the 147 pound limit?

The point is JMM wasn't shot when he fought Mayweather.

Exactly. Took the guy 3 years of steroids before he could put on enough muscle to be a legit 147lber.
