    Big ****!

UFC is sold to scavenger investment firm, so UFC payroll will decrease to line the pocket of vulture capitalists.

still very bad when the fight probably generated 250 million
if you want to earn money, stick with boxing. you need to be a massive draw to earn money in the ufc

Mcgregor prove a lot of doubters wrong .

He faced adversity, overcame adversity . Diaz was rocking a gassed Mcgregor with everything he had yet the smaller man never went down .

I have to suck it up and praise Conor .

He showed his heart and willpower in that war .

He deserves every bit of that 15 million .

if u have enough talent/determination/work ethics to consider making money from any sports, fighting sports should be down on the list...IF on it..

This figure is meant to exemplify the fact that the UFC is just getting started. Casual fans of combat will be fans of Conor, regardless, as time goes by.

One great thing we get to see is the number 1 draw in combat sports fighting the best, taking big risks etc.

If I was McGregor I would take Khan up on his offer. Would make loads of money and have a good chance of getting 2 KOs

Unless 15m was his purse then the point is moot. We rarely know what fighters make through all revenue streams so we don't compare it that way.

According to the article, Mcgregors Purse was only 3m for this fight.

The Dude is white, meaning he probably earned most of that from endorsements like promoting whiskey in Irish market for $2M and Steroids in the Russian market for $3M, etc.

the purses are going to keep getting bigger and bigger because i dont think popularity of mma is going to slow down yet. i grew up at the height of boxing popularity and i never saw as many kids practice boxing as i see practicing mma today. in 10 years youre going to see the golden age of mma as mixed techniques get more and more refined.
this mcgregor fight will help increase popularity because it was really hyped and it delivered. it was very entertaining.
