Better results in the real physical universe.

Just the same as many of the other guys he swerved.

If he was this invincible marvel of speed, then why didn’t he go after the best in the division?

He is a pygmy next to Conn!

None of this is responsive to my question, other than the two-inch height gap that you allude to implicitly. "Better results" isn't a comparative advantage in an actual fight (and it's highly debatable in this case anyway, to say the least).

A pygmy with a longer reach :think

What a match, technical perfection or close to it vs incredible raw speed, reflex and ability.

I really don't think Conn is a danger of ko'ing Jones and vice versa so i think it would be a distance fight. I could see Jones winning a competitive decision in a very high level contest.

    He did.

    Who did he swerve?

You're so biased when it comes to Roy.

Jones beat John Ruiz, please! Doesnt come close to Joe Louis in his prime. Jones wouldn't have survive a Louis in his prime, or the 2nd fight when Louis was older.

Easy boy, I got a compass in my C r a c k e r jack box and I put it to better use than the Japs did in "1941" when they took it away from Ned Beatty!
*sigh* Another thread about a 1940 fighter against a 2000 fighter. :patsch

OMG you ARE comparing Ruiz to Louis. There's no point in going back and forth with you so feel free to post your astute observations.

no but if your argument is Jones couldnt hang with Louis alls im sayin is neither could Conn, so its a pretty irelevant argument

personally though, i think if Conn could outbox Louis for 10+ rounds i would think the faster Jones would have a pretty solid chance as well..
and i dont think Jones would get c0cky and stand right in front of the man. he would finish tbe fight

Did you ever clarify whether you meant head to head or legacy-wise?
