Ali definatly was effected by it. It wasnt just Parkinson's and yes Robinson had it too.

It's possible to have both, but pugilistic dementia typically refers to frontal lobe damage, while Parkinson's is cause by damage to the substancia nigra located in the cerebellum, in the back of the head.

You quoted wiki. Here's a site about it that does not blanket wrap Traumatic Parkinson's with pugilistic dementia. The reason why guys like Roach and Norris are involved in training is because they aren't demented, they had issues with dopamine production.

Hitman Hearnes I struggle understanding and James Toney would need subtitles as he's impossible to understand,both these guys took serious head punishment,amazed Nigel Benn isn't worse than what he is,Rid**** Bowe sounds bad as well.

 

Ive heard Jake LaMotta held up really well. The guys head was HUGE though for a middleweight, so maybe that helped..

 

Toney reportedly has a shrunken pituitary gland which can be caused by trauma. That would cause low testosterone.
