You think someone who delivered a bad performance is less deserving than a certified drugs cheat? You've lost the plot Len.

No, that's not what I said sugar. Quigg was beaten fair and square, yet has never acknowledged this instead he has come up with excuse after excuse as to why we should believe he " really won"! And how he " really deserves a rematch". Quigg has not been honest with himself or the fans.

Do you think he deserves a rematch?

Kid will be clean from now on. So we will get to see how good he really is. I think he could be really good. So let's give him a chance.
How about kid v quigg? Great fight!

You think drug cheats in boxing should be given second chances?

Once a cheat always a cheat.

We've had this discussion before. Lots of very credible studies suggest that athletes that use performance enhancing drugs continue to feel the benefits of their use years on. See Justin Gatlin as a notable example. Galahad should have been banned from combat sports for life. Giving second chances to these cheats encourages other to do so. That's just the way I see it.

Quigg lost a SD that should have been a UD IMO. In light of that - and the fact he didn't get going until it was far too late due to the ineptitude of his corner - it's easy to see why he thinks a rematch might go differently. Your hatred of him and anyone else you see as anti-carl is blurring your judgement.

Just as a moot point, that would depend on the type of drugs used.

Someone using anabolic drugs would still benefit from the explosive strength and power gains they were able to develop using the drugs very shortly after coming off them, but after a year they would almost certainly regress back to their natural levels of strength if they were totally clean.

Also Gatlin is certainly still using drugs and not only the drugs he was caught using so it's not a great example to cite.

Almost definitely but my point is he's testing 'clean' now and for Len that's apparently enough.

Here's an article about the study I was talking about.

Len's an idiot tbh. I don't waste anytime posting seriously about boxing in his threads, they are always bait or biased.

    Cheers for the link.

When your record for correctly predicting the outcome of big fights comes close to mine, then and only then your name calling might have some credibility. 😀

Very talented boxer but a cheat is a cheat and in this sport it should mean a lifetime ban. Don't see a case for saying he has done his time when this is a sport where athletes put their lives on the line... all sports should be clean but in boxing it is more serious than in other sports

You thought O'Quitterson would KO Eubank Jr and you thought Blackwell had a chance of beating Eubank Jr also. Based on those calls you lack the ability to predict outcomes accurately because both were absolutely blatant Eubank wins from the outset.

Lets be honest. Kid Galahad v Quigg would do well and is a great fight for both fighters. It could headline a major night somewhere in Sheffield or the Manchester. Kid would be a great test for Quigg. I think it would be a close close fight. I think Kid has the skill to test Quigg and could well win the fight. The drugs issue theres not a lot we can do. In the rules the serve there time and they come back I am guessing Kid will be tested regularly after a failed test. Also if the fight makes sense to Eddie Hearn he will get this fight done. A rematch with Frampton for Quigg is unlikely for a long time. Frampton could be tied up in fights with Santa Cruz and Selby for the next 2 fights. Also if Santa Cruz wins a third fight will be a option too more than likely. So who does Quigg fight if not Kid, I dont see him fighting for a World title straight away. Only if Hearn can get the WBA interim title or the WBA regular with Rigo holding the main title again.

Good post. First offence and all that. Yeah we just have to accept the kid did the crime and did the time. It's unlikely he will chance taking anything again. A clean KG is a welcome re-addition to the domestic scene. I think so anyway.

Obviously if he continues to take banned substances the that's what he will have to be....banned!
