Bonds was a weak opponent for Ray but was equivalent to many almost 1/2 of Norris opponents several who he lost too.
Your getting your senil ass handed to on here everyday ... Give it up foxy I mean rooster ..

Norris should have been DQ'd in round 2.
    WTF was all that about?

More horse sh!t from you which is only to be expected. Spinks beat an ATG Heavy in Ali, but just like Hagler was in the Leonard fight,Ali was far removed from his prime.

It is called " smoke and mirrors. "

    Spot on again Red.

Kalule loses to Leonard, so they feed him 4 more journeymen including a member of Leonard's family only for him to leave the safety of Denmark again and get his ass handed to him by Davey Moore.

Much like the way you are handing these clowns asses to them on this thread.

Things don't get much more desperate than folks trying to claim Kalule was a force to be reckoned with just so they can worship at the altar of Leonard.:rofl:rofl

Tbh, I don't really care about him losing to Norris, as there is every reason to believe Norris beats any version of Leonard. What irks me is the way their gutless little hero avoided fighting Hearns at 154, preferring instead to face those 2 mugs Finch, and Howard.

The difference of course being the scores in the decisions rendered in the respective fights.

Both losers were favourites going into the fights, but Hagler didn't get completely shut out, Leonard on the other hand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:lol:

I might approach the mods a about making this a sticky thread. In fact we should have four five sticky threads devoted to Norris vs Leonard containing the wisdom of Rooster and foxy.

Two drunks or drunks from a family of drunks want to believe that beating Leonard in his last pro fight is something monumental. No prime fighter EVER is given significant credit for beating an aged former champion. Holmes-Ali, Louis-Marciano, Dempsey-Tunney.. The list is endless. Norris is not given credit for beating Leonard because it was Leonards final pro fight and he was obviously a shell of the fighter he once was. It was his final pro fight for Christs sake.

At the time and since. In all of sports an aging past prime great athlete is just that when on the losing end against a prime athlete. One can offer a case as to why prime vs prime a similar result would eschew but not using the past prime bout as an example.

I was referring to the fact that it wasn't actually Leonard's final pro fight.

Yes. Next to final bout. In his final bout he was stopped by Camacho.

yes, you're right. It should have been.

Of course, Foxy and Rooster actually think the Camacho fight has relevance it rating Leonard, so of course they think the Norris fight matters.

Their inability to see the big picture is startling.

Some people will never admit to being wrong no matter how much logic and evidence you throw their way.

I've seen and talked to people like this in everyday life.

In my experience, these type of people are what I call "half educated."

They have just enough to think they know better than everyone else.

They lack the insight and humility to realize they don't.

Thus, they get stuck and fail to actually grow in their intellect.
