Let's have some perspective on Joshua?

Compared to Fury he is going down murderer's row.

Exactly, Pulev/Stiverne isn't bad at all for Joshua's 18th fight.

Stiverne is a pudding and another waste of space fight.

Pulev would be just about OK although I think Tony Dosh destroys him.

Pulev would be Joshua's best win by far, would put Wilder to shame IMO.

24 having been a pro for 4 years.

Joshua's first pro fight was 10 days before his 24th birthday, so very little in it.

Difference is that Fury wasnt a world champion, you cant be a world champion and be protected because your "still learning".

It was free to view on Channel Five. No one was asked to pay £15 to view it.
And no one hyped it as a world heavyweight championship fight.

Rogie put 15 grand on himself hence throwing the towel in. A lot of people in West Belfast had money on that round he threw the towel in.

Partly the reason why Joshua is fighting guys like this as of now is due to how popular he is.

Why would Eddie wait to put him on PPV after say 18 fights when he can do it four fights quicker? It'd be losing money, and Eddie hates that.

    Exactly right.

Is he a "world champion" or still learning?

If you have a belt, then you are obligated to defend it against the best. It is the causal acceptance of this **** that is ruining the sport.
