I think ggg will win within round 6-9...win win situation for brook...huge payday...still.ibf welterweight champ...everyone already writing him off....so whats he got to lose....plis the potential kham fight at welterweight....lets face it...khans g gonna drain brook to skin ad bone on his terms to make the fight...brook will defo agree
I was thinking the same; Golovkin by KO / TKO, somewhere between rounds 7-9. There is a good chance of this happening if Golovkin has Brook hurt in round 3 or 4, takes his foot off the gas for a couple of rounds only to ratchet the up the pressure in the 6th or 7th, as he appeared to do in his fights with Murray and Lemieux.
Golovkin will take his time, create an opening, and knock Brook out. I do hope that the judges, referee and boxing commission will be fair though.................I remember when Kovalev fought Cleverly, the ref carried Cleverly back to his corner to help him out, but Kovelev knocked him out anyway.......................
I think everybody is just covering their **** here. He could only just about get Martin Murray out of there, durable but hardly world class. If Brook carries the weight and all indications is that he's been bursting at the seams to move up, and the occasion/dedication given this shot improves his performance by 10% you are likely to be looking at a Brook split decision. I don't expect most of you to agree as nobody fancies the underdog. One other point, with GGG's age it's likely we have seen the best of him
if brook carries the speed and power up to middleweight he will give golovkin his hardest fight and could maybe possibly win on points if he counters and holds like he did against porter and golovkin has an off night, but the hard truth is, there is no way brook takes a punch better than say murray for example so I can only see a stoppage for ggg probably a body shot. Kell will have success because he is technically very good and might even be ahead on the scorecards but he gets stopped without a doubt
Another turkey if a fight being palmed off on the gullible British public. Doubt brook will win a round before getting ko'd.
Brook gets stopped on his feet in the middle rounds. This is a PR exercise and a big pay day. Brook won't be taking too many risks in this fight.
Good post Sir. I see Brook getting a decision in this fight, and i see him at times doing it easily. I like GGG but i do favor Brook. People say Brook is cashing out, quite the opposite IMO.
