    The fact Oscar tried to ridicule Mayweather for not fighting Pacquiao for years and now hides Canelo behind any excuse he can find is rather disgusting.

    Say what you want about Floyd versus Pac it would've been a better fight in 2009, whatever the result, Hell they could have squeezed in a trilogy by 2015

    OP might be right though. For a company like golden boy to insist that Canelo is the next Floyd, they might be thinking, if Floyd did it, why not the next Floyd?

    The fact that this post, by far the best and most accurate on this thread, gets ignored, sums up this site perfectly.

    Too many people on this site get so caught up in their childish squabbles that they completely fail to see the truth.

    It would be better if we had more people who were fans of the sport over fans of particular fighters. Coming here is like being on a team sport site; full of petty arguements over nothing and very few debates over actual, real things.

    Floyd admitted from his own mouth that he was the one who kept the fight from happening. He wanted Pac to get older and look more beatable, and now he's using the money excuse to say it built up the hype when it was clear he wanted to duck Pac for almost 6 years
