Tua was being outboxed plenty of times. Byrd and Lewis then guys like Oquendo, Izon, and Maskaev. Tua wasn't some mobile fighter. He was flat footed and slow. Simple as that tbh. Movement takes stamina. Ali had to have great stamina to be constantly moving throughout a fight even though he didn't throw too many punches.

Tua is knocking out Galento. He was very durable with one punch ko power and Tony wouldn't have the jab, reach, speed, footwork or height that Lennox Lewis had.

Being outboxed until he caught them and ko'd them,I repeat only
two boxers beat him . Movement isn't half as taxing as throwing punches believe me.

Nicholson was out boxing Tua,until 9.30 on this clip.

One thing I firmly believe Galento wouldn't outbox him!

I totally agree that movement isn't as taxing as punching and that Galento would in no way outbox Tua.

I think this side debate is becoming about the weaknesses of Tua and Galento rather than how each could realistically beat the other. In no universe will Galento or Tua outbox the other.

I see this fight being right in the center of the ring toe to toe. Galento was better at countering/timing with the left hook than Tua. Galento could fight pretty well against a great jabber as shown in the Louis fight whereas Tua shut down as shown in the Lewis fight.

I see this as a UD for Tua. Galento could take great punishment and I really can't see him getting caught off guard. Tua was better technically though which is the deciding factor for me personally.

How can anyone realistically mount an argument for Galento winning this? Tua knocks that fat lump unconscious. Galento was fcuking awful.

He accomplished a lot more than Tua, so if he was so awful, then what does that say about Tua?

Also, nobody ever knocked him unconcious.
