If anything, the missed picks have hurt me badly. The Parker-Huamono pick alone that I intentionally missed in order to placate your whiny god damned ass would have put me in a virtual tie for first place. The win-loss ratio of the other picks would have been sufficient for me to occupy the top slot.

Let me refer you to post #6104 of this thread. It lists the fights that I failed to pick. Add in the Parker-Huamono and you'll find that I would very likely be in the same position...or higher.

Again...and I will repeat this very slowly, so that you will finally get it through your thick god damned skull...

If I win this year, it will be because I picked well enough from that point forward to overcome any oversights. And if I don't, it will be because the person/people ahead of me picked better than me. By attempting to diminish my record you also diminish their accomplishment, too.

But don't worry...I have a feeling that I won't be playing next year, regardless of the result. I simply have no desire to have to sift through page after page of the continuous stream of cow feces that you post to threads like this. This year's been bad enough...Just don't think I have it in me to handle another f8cking year of this.

Hey Drew, you're a great player so it'd be sad to see you go.

I got in a confrontation a year back and it was for something small so don't let it go to your head. Thinking back, it was really dumb.

Right now, I'm just making picks when I can and not really focused anymore. Just far too busy nowadays to really care all too much about internet stuff. I think that's the right mentality for something like this.

I don't want to be part of anyone's business, but I do think you and CST could easily get along, you guys are quite similar. No need for all of this animosity.

It's true, they are.

But I've really had no verbal wars with anyone this entire year and that is so surprising. I usually have 1-2 a year.

I don't have anyone on ignore, I just cleanse it out mentally. :yep. I've gotten quite good at it.

I've learned to just completely skip the negative comments altogether, only respond to the ones I see fit and I see it as a way for free bumps (My threads). I can filter it out instantly, it's such a useful skill.

If the last post is a negative one, I'll just post something like

"Mayweather's defense is great" and it's a free bump. :happy:rofl

But yeah, you shouldn't quit, just keep doing your thing, make picks and move on. To be too emotionally invested in this is just going to make you frustrated.

That's what I usually do. But when someone asks me to skip an easy pick, and continues to complain after I accommodate their request, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Also, CST's continuous attempts to sow discord in a thread that was supposed to be civil annoy the living hell out of me. That's probably what's gonna compel me to leave once the year is done.

 

No need for that man, I tell everyone the same thing. Just make your picks and move on. No one can bend the rules, even the people overseeing this entire thing.

You're a great poster and someone who makes unorthodox picks, it'd be sad to see you go.

This was supposed to be a fun event, but if you don't find it fun anymore then I guess. But damn man!

 

I mentioned that when I rejoined, he was trying to have a childish argument with someone so I told him off and he quietened down a bit but seems he likes the agro.

This thread has ALWAYS been free from trolling and bs, it's ALWAYS been a safe haven from the ****e that pollutes the rest of the general forum.

I've seen a few arguments on here this year and I'm not saying they're all the fault of CST but he is a common factor.

I don't really want him to leave the thread, but I do want him to chill out a bit

I like the banter and he is so easy to get a rise from but the big arguments get some of the other posters down.

He needs to learn where the line is really and this bs about missing picks is the wrong side of that line imo. Especially from someone renowned for flip flopping and making tactical picks
