Here is the thread on Brook will win Brook is miles better boxer won't stop GGG but Brook will frustrate and win quite easy going to be a bit like Roy Jones vs Ruiz Not a shut out but a win with ease
Agree with Avon don't get where brook is better boxer ,I am fam brook but see no other outcome than a Ggg win,yes he is good boxer no doubt but Ggg has far more ability the majority brook career has been his ability to bully and overwhelm his opponent due to size but not be case sat night keep hearing brook huge etc he isn't used to taking punches off a mw never mind one hardest punching mw in world prob hardest Hoping for a cracking fight tho but prediction Ggg ko in 5th or corner pulls brook out in 5th
I saw on a Facebook boxing group that someone suggested Brook should "jab and move". I hope Sanchez has prepared GGG for such unorthodox tactics.
Why is it always the case that people think that big punchers can't box? GGG is a silver medalist at the Olympic games, he knows how to fight in various styles.
It's the phenomenon where the closer to the fight you get, the more realistic the unrealistic seems. I'm a huge Brook fan, but GGG is clear favourite. To be fair, I have been re-watching some of GGG's fights, and he really hasn't faced much quality. And unless you subscribe to the idea that GGG was toying with Martin Murray, then I think that's a fight Brook can take a lot of heart from. Brook is better defensively than Murray, slicker, and surely will have more power than him, even at MW. Granted Murray is tough, but Kell isn't going to lie down. If he can keep GGG honest in the opening rounds, I think he can have some success in the middle rounds like Murray did. It's a long shot, but I think Brook could see the distance.
He really hasn't faced much quality ,because they don't want to fight him.How many quality wins does Brook have?Garcia,Thurman,Khan etc?
He knows how to get into range is an excellent punch placer, and has a good jab ,he isn't a one trick pony. GGG has terrific footwork.:good
