Latest interview with Golovkin on latimes.

No more Mr. Nice guy from ggg and it looks like his strategy might be to try and openly shame canelo into fighting him. Great strategy I think, some great quotes in his latest interview and words couldnt be more true, GB and Canelo will have nowhere to hide, but keep making excuses and trying to fool the public.

"Canelo, he’s talking too much. He’s not smart, not respectful of people,” Golovkin said. “Everybody wants to watch this fight. He’s just scared.”

"Canelo and [promoter] Golden Boy — everybody around Canelo — understands, and they’re all scared,” Golovkin said. “He’s their Golden Child. If he’s finished, no money from him, no business.”

After being betrayed by Alvarez previously, Golovkin said he can already foresee the next scheme being concocted against him.

“He’s saying September’s the best date,” Golovkin said. “Maybe he’ll fight [Antonio] Margarito, maybe [Manny] Pacquiao or blah, blah, blah before then.

“It’s too much talk from Canelo. He’s not serious. Everybody understands it. People understand that G’s ready and Canelo’s not. He’s under pressure.”

"The next step is for Canelo to say, ‘I’m ready. I’m side A, [Golovkin] is side B, and I’ll give him $2 million,’” Golovkin predicted. “Then, [Alvarez] can say, ‘What? He won’t take that? He’s not ready? I’m ready.’

    “It’s a 50-50 fight, but that’s what he’s going to do. It’s a game to him.”

Canelo's people are taking the same stance against Golovkin as Golovkin's people took against Ward. It's poetic justice really.

Sucks that neither of the fights were made, but oh well, the sport does not live or die with any of these three men

Canelo's body isn't ready for middleweight. Simple as that. Right now I bet Oscar is DESPERATELY trying to sober Kelly Pavlik up so he can fight Canelo at 159lbs catch weight.

Remember when Golovkin won the SMW lineal title and then dropped it to avoid facing his mandatory, Andre Ward? Yeah, me neither.

    :good

:D GGG & his camp are sick & tired of Canelo "RUNNING HIS MOUTH" !!!

:rofl Canelo & O$car/GBP either needs to SH!T or GET OFF THE POT !!!

The press has turned on Canelo, boxing experts are fed up with Canelo's excuses, and the public will move on.

    ;)

I remember watching Canelo Vs Hatton and thinking to myself, this dude is way over protected. He's never been one of my favorite fighters but I respect him for going out of his comfort zone and taking challenges. That being said, I thought GGG and his camp only cared about the belts, didn't they say they wanted to unify?

I would never call any fighter a coward, they are competing in a sport that could take their lives. People dissing Canelo for dropping the belt cause he didn't want to bend over to all of GGG's demands. Why is it ok for Canelo to go to 160lbs. but it's a heresy for GGG to come down to 155lbs or take a CW? Or even better fight Canelo at SWW.

To add more, GGG stated "Give me my belt" and Canelo dropped the belt cause he knew he was the A side. GGG already has the belt, I thought it was all about the belts. GGG is showing his true side, he wants that payday. That my friends is called hypocrisy.

This smells like Mayweather Vs Pacquiao all over again. Everybody was calling Mayweather a coward and look how that turned out.
