I hold both fighters in high regard and see GGG as a decent favorite, however nothing about Kell upsetting the odds would surprise me here. He's an enormous talent and I reckon he has a better chance than anyone that GGG has ever fought.

So I'm picking GGG, and see him as a favorite, but I wouldn't be at all surprised by an upset. What you think?

Ultimately yes I would be. At most I expect Brook to almost hang in there and have the odd bit of success here and there. If he won, it would be a big upset.

what is it about brook that makes him an enormous talent?
ggg for example, has elite level offence, ring generalship, pedigree and atg power. what does brook do better than the rest?

well pac is elite i guess he would stand a chance with GGG LOL mosley/khan/paulie would even be considered elite but that means nothing

having big names doesnt mean the fighter is elite

Yes, I would be shocked if Brook somehow found a way to beat GGG: who wouldn't be?

But, to borrow a quote by Sugar Ray Leonard, "Unfortunately, it'll never happen."

Absolutely nothing. Anytime anyone faces GGG their status is raised and overrated in the eyes of his fanboys.

Brook has done nothing at 147 to be proud of in his 10 year career. All of a sudden he is compared to Trinidad because he is fighting Golovkin. This is crazy.

We should compare Rod Salka to Vinny Paz because he moved up and fought Danny Garcia.

We don't even compare Marquez to Duran for moving up and fighting Mayweather ,most of you just complain because he loss.

You just said GGG has an elite level offence, ring generalship, pedigree and atg power.. yet it has never been tested at an elite level, so its a matter of opinion.

Wont deny he has good power and is a good boxer, but surely you have to be tested at the highest level to be compared to the highest level?

GGG is a special fighter, I dont know how others can question the skill. I will say though I dont known how high Kells ceiling is. Problem is porter took brook the distance, and brook beat a style that he should in theory struggle against. The problem is GGG has that style , pressure. but at the highest level, being a pressure fighter that counters is so dangerous. #PRAY4BROOK, I want him to win:afro:
