Clearly I'm the one getting to you, which is why you have the constant compulsion to make passive aggressive digs at me.

You're terribly transparent lufcrazy, a very obvious and weak troll, you need to polish up the your act a little, your BUTTHURT shines through way too much.

Not a compulsion mate, you're just easy to get a rise out of so when I see you wind others up I just put you back in your place

Who even used the word Butthurt? It's so cringe worthy.

I do most of my posting in here or Classic, can't really be arsed with the rest of the forum. It was only the other day you said you like me though, please don't take it to seriously, after all we bonded over super hero films remember :)

Multiple posts on the topic hardly qualifies as little effort. And it's nice to know that you take such pride in dragging people down into the depths known as "The Lowest Common Denominator." That said, I can make a home in such a place, as required. Would rather not do so...but I do have a spine and if you push me so many times, I'll eventually push back.

The reason why I've remained in contention is because I've managed to do well in picking matches over the past couple of months. Still.. have fewer losses, but those extra wins that I could have had and that Pinoy and UTF do have are the determining factor in why they're ahead at the moment.

Really, if I had truly wanted to duck, Chris...I would have picked a couple of gimmes and had taken several easy wins while just avoiding the tougher matches. Yes, that would have been more obvious, but I'm not that subtle. :D

As for the point about me having an unassailable lead by missing picks...refer to the next part of your post.

Oh look, check out kirk, who had been top 5 that year, with the exact same W-L ratio as me, but still behind due to the fact that he missed the last quarter of the year, more or less. If I miss more picks in 2015, I wouldn't have made the top 10, because my win percentage wouldn't have been as good. If I miss more picks this year, that almitost certainly holds true, barring the most unusual of statistical anomalies.

    And sometimes it isn't.

You still have to make successful picks in order to do well, and I generally find that my best approach to take would be to focus less on what other people are picking (unless it's in a tie-breaker situation) and to focus instead on your own damned game and the fights at hand. You appeared to be taking that approach more often at the beginning of this year, and were doing well. Maybe returning to that approach will help you out more going forward.

Or maybe I wouldn't. You should give Pinoy and UTF credit, in addition to me. I'm pretty good at this game right now, but so are they...and so are a lot of other people. No guarantee about what would result from more missed picks except that I'd have fewer wins on my ledger.

Anyway, I like your idea of highlighting asian cards. It will help as long as the list gets bumped with regularity.

For the official record I wasn't going to change my pick, I never do.

I think the other picks should stand, but as Drew said, everyone went for them anyways so makes no difference :)

Mostly everyone that actively participates in the league got their picks in on time concerning the fight, and the forum was up for half a day on September 2, the day (technically) before the fight (which in my opinion was sufficient time especially when you keep in mind that it's an Asian-based fight that should occur very early the following day). I feel the Inoue fights were totally different because the forum was down the entirety of September 3, the day (technically) before the fight and even I wasn't able to get those picks in. I'd like to hear other's opinions on this though. I personally think it should count for the reasons I stated (not because I got #1 back lol) but if there's a huge uproar, I might have to reconsider it.

That is such a great song, although I prefer the English version.

I support your reasoning entirely. Everyone got their Arroyo-Ancajas picks in on time, and the site was up for the majority of the day. It wasn't up at all on Saturday, its totally fair.

And like I said before, what's the point, everyone would have went with both Inoue's anyway, so the ones who missed those matches would suffer unfairly.

Lol, that's because I'm from the U.K (A.K.A The Land of the Super Hans), and I have friends who support Leeds United, so I recognised the LUFC abbreviation.
