He's not the Undisputed champion. He hasn't collected that WBO strap yet, or hasnt beaten the lineal champion, who like it or not is Canelo Alvarez.

 

Golovkin won the title from Stevens and after that, acts like a welfare queen waiting for a free handout.

 

How presumptuous of Golovkin! You would think beating all the other top MWs would entitle him to a shot with the MW lineal champ but I guess not? Just looking for that handout by beating the **** out of everyone else in his division!

 

If only boxing actually worked like that. If only.

 

Lets just remind you how this has happened.... Canelo dropped his belt, rolled in some feathers and got the cluck out of there. The only way that's Golovkin's fault is because he'll hurt Canelo if they actually do fight, and Canelo isn't really too keen on that.

I have a feeling after Ggg takes care of business with Saunders, Jacobs, and Eubank Jr, then Canelo will be ready for his spanking. Ggg's stock goes up, more ppv's get sold, fight gets made in 2017-2018. Canelo did say he wasn't going to get pressured into fighting Ggg anytime soon. He may be labeled a coward for now, but from a business standpoint, the bigger the legend of Ggg grows, the bigger the paychecks both will receive. Oscar has a point about letting this fight simmer. But dang, Canelo is gettin feathered and tarred bad!

 

At times I wonder if GGG actually gets bored putting opponents to sleep one after the other.

I seriously have no idea why Alvarez is afraid of Golovkin. The way to beat Alvarez is to box him and move away(Mayweather, Lara), the way to beat Golovkin is to stay close, slipping punches, going to the body and countering. There is no doubt in my mind that Alvarez knocks out GGG around the 5th or 6th round. GGG's style is perfect for Alvarez. That's what he wants. He wants you to come to him. GGG likes to stalk his prey as they are back pedaling not even thinking about hurting him, but just in there to survive to the 12th.. That's just my opinion.
