Nah, Boxing is just not mainstream anymore in the US. Wilder is not even a huge star, different climate nowadays.
Wilder is a true American and much more popular in the US than Golovkin who is a nobody and running to the UK because he can't make it in the USA.
Learning involves being comfortable while being uncomfortable. As GGG and Wilder keep winning you will continue to be uncomfortable. But hopefully you will learn to deal with it and perhaps even learn something along the way. Cheers.
God bless America, bro, but Golovkin sells out his venues in the USA while Wilder struggles to fill the seats. Your post is clearly an attempt at trolling. Golovkin is "running to the UK" because his team has realized there is a lot of money to be made there.
LOL! Stop fuc'ing up my thread with childish white lies. Wilder's fight attendence numbers have always beat Golovkin's. Even Cotto and Canelo fought their catchweight MW title bouts and far exceeded any number that self proclaimed, King Of MW division, has even achieved. Golovkin's numbers and opponents have been so pess poor, he is forced to put all his faith in a mediocre WW, Brook, and Brook's UK audience to show decent 160 numbers.
Golovkin will make millions fighting in the UK, hopefully he does not screw up his chance to become a multi-millionaire.
Golovkin sold out MSG (over 20k) for the Lemieux fight. Wilder has barely ever cracked half of that. As for his other recent USA fights, some quick googling tells me that the guy from Kazakhstan seems to be edging out the American who fights in his own backyard. Cotto and Canelo? I don't know the numbers for that fight but I am not at all surprised if they beat GGG's numbers by a wide margin...they are two of the biggest names in boxing with huge draws! LOL at that being some slight to the fricken Kazakhstan's status. FYI, Golovkin is the "king of the MW" division not because he is the biggest draw that can fight at 160 but because no one else can beat him at 160.
