I mean fighters who broke through and entered their primes in the period 1996 - 2016. Not ones who were left over from before that, or had broken through in the early 90s.
How many all-time great fighters have there been in the last two decades ??

I suppose Pacquiao would be a good place to start? Mayweather an ATG maybe?

Hopkins? Unless we say he was already around pre-'96, he's borderline in terms of timeline, as is Oscar De La Hoya. Their all-time greatness is open to question, or at least open to this thread's question.

Hopkins, Pacman, Mayweather and DLH are all bonafide ATG's for mine, just to cover the ones you named.

I think RJJ was established before 1996. If not, he's at least another borderline case.

Trinidad and Mosley would be candidates.

Lewis has enough post 96 to be included i think, he's one for sure. I'm pondering the likes of Trinidad, Mosely, Morales, Barrera.

He was established before 1996 but in his prime right at that breaking point.

    Loads tbh.

From top of my head, as in people bearing retirement now

    Floyd
    Pac
    Mosley
    De La Hoya
    Mosley
    Vitali
    Hopkins
    Wright
    Hamed

Then depends where the cut off is.

    Tito
    Whitaker
    Jones
    Toney

Maybe a couple of more that have slipped my mind. I would go through my spreadsheet but there's too many.
