    I grew up watching Hagler do similar .very upsetting watching some nasty bald headed American battering your plucky British heroes.apart from brook have Billy boy and jr eu got the bottle to share a ring with GGG or will they carry on whistling past the grave yard?.

    What is with all this specious "ring I.Q." nonsense being bandied about? Brook is bigger and stronger than the other WW's, who uses his strength to hold on the inside to steal time and/or mask a deficiency.

    WOW, brilliant! What a ring I.Q.. That massive intellect is bound to make GGG look stupid. LOL

    Brook is smart enough to maybe find a way to spoil for about 5 or 6 rounds, if he's lucky, but that's about it. Unfortunately for Brook as much of a "ring genius" as he may be, what people fail to realize is that GGG's ring IQ is Mensa level. :deal

    I'm on board with that.

    Even if GGG was a natural welterweight with a reduction in power that was closer to the mold of a Malignaggi, I would still favor Golovkin over Brook.

    I agree with you, RC. I think KB probably is the best ww. He beat Poter easier than Thurman did as well. I do believe KB does better than most people think he will. He troubles GGG in the first half of the fight and either gets kod late or goes the distance.

    I'd be shocked if this went the distance. And honestly, while I believe Brook may very well be the best welterweight in the world, I don't really think he will trouble Gennady much at all. As I stated here yesterday, even if Brook and Golovkin were naturally the same size, and even if Golovkin had less power than Malignaggi, I still think Golovkin would beat Brook because I believe he is both smarter and better skilled. The fact that Gennady is bigger and possesses incredible power leads me to believe those advantages (skills and smarts) will be further amplified.
