Been waiting a long time to see Brook step into the ring against somebody with a pulse. On top of that we get to see what a non drained and pushed to the brink Brook is capable of. I'm watching it for sure but I don't have huge expectations. This fight is basically to try and get a gauge on how well Brook will settle into MW or JMW should he chose.

I try to watch every fight I can. Whether people call it a mismatch or whatever you have to give credit to guys like Brook who are willing to put it all on the line and dare to be great. It is respectable.

Brook would struggle against David Lemieux
He 'll be way out of his depth against Golovkin.
Can't see him making it past the fifth.

Yea it might be but he isn't there sitting on his couch getting fat is he? No he is training hard and looking to win this fight.

Theres a difference between just showing up looking to collect a check and what Brook is doing.

People need to stop literally crying about every other match made. It's embarrassing, honestly.

I think Golovkin is a huge favorite here but I'm still looking forward to the fight.

I'm a fan of Golovkin and enjoy watching him and there should be a great atmosphere for this one. I wouldn't classify this as a can't miss type of fight but I'm still looking forward to it.

It's actually a really strong weekend of fights this week. The two must see type of fights for me are Easter-Commey and Gonzalez-Cuadras. There's also Soto-Karass-Kamegai which probably ends up as the fight of the weekend.

I don't care much for their match ups but I like Golovkin and Jacobs and when you add those other 3 fights to the mix you get a really good weekend of televised fights coming up.

I like watching Golovkin, he is extremely talented and is an exciting fighter to watch

I also want to see what Brook can do in there, I think this fight as well as the Khan vs Canelo fight were mismatches but I was very curious to see just what the little guy can do

I really would have preferred Brook take care of business at welter against Thurman, Spence, and Vargas, possibly unify, and then take on the mighty Ggg. It would have created more interest and would have been more significant. Brook is definitely the better boxer, better fighter than Khan ever was. All Khan ever had going for him was that insane speed.
