Smith should be taking this opportunity to box long... He's winning handily obviously, but he looked inept at times and needs to quit the head hunting. If he fought like this against Jack or Degale, hell maybe even Groves or the Dirrelevant brothers he'd be in trouble. A real talent, but he has a lot of holes in his game.

 

Nemesapti's doing well to hang in there but he's getting outworked, outlanded and outclassed. Smith hasn't really bothered to take it out of second gear.

 

FYI. Callum is probably my favorite SMW to watch - just leaving that out there before some random Brittard decides to call me a hater.

 

Smith should just do him now. Poor Norbert is out of his depth and any more toying is just cruel. The lack of action from Smith makes me want him to walk onto a dinger.

I suppose you could say it was a solid night for Smith in the sense that he got 6 rounds and a stoppage.

But Smith has a tendency to be a little sloppy in patches and that end up costing him when he steps up to world title level.

I 100% agree with what you are saying. However, he has switched off in the past when facing less than competent opposition. I think when the big stage arrives, so will he.
